Das aktuelle Schloss Wijnandsrade liegt in der Gemeinde Nuth. Es ist ein teilweise umgräbtes Gebäude, das aus drei Flügeln um einen Innenhof besteht. Hinter dem Schloss liegt ein Motte, umgeben von der Schlossteich. Auf dieser Motte, einem künstlichen Hügel, stand das ursprüngliche Schloss. Neben dem Schloss befindet sich ein Schlossgut, der frühere Borchhof, der aus drei Flügeln rund um einen großen Innenhof besteht. Die Motteburg wird erstmals im zwölften Jahrhundert erwähnt.
