Das Dorf Zuidbroek liegt in der Gemeinde Midden-Groningen in der niederländischen Provinz Groningen. Im Jahr 2021 hatte Zuidbroek 3.575 Einwohner. Bis zum 1. Juli 1965 war Zuidbroek eine selbständige Gemeinde. An diesem Datum fusionierte die Gemeinde mit Noordbroek zur Gemeinde Oosterbroek. Das Dorf wird seit 1992 von der Autobahn A7 durchschnitten. Die reformierte Kreuzkirche steht nördlich der Straße, während der Bahnhof, der größte Teil des Einzelhandels, die meisten Wohnviertel und die Gewerbegebiete Gouden Driehoek und Industrieweg sich im südlichen Teil des Dorfes befinden.
