Il villaggio di Zuidbroek si trova nel comune di Midden-Groningen nella provincia olandese di Groninga. Nel 2021 Zuidbroek contava 3.575 abitanti. Fino al 1 luglio 1965, Zuidbroek era un comune autonomo. In questa data il comune si fusero con Noordbroek per formare il comune di Oosterbroek. Dal 1992, il villaggio è attraversato dall'autostrada A7. La chiesa riformata di Kreuz si trova a nord della strada, mentre la stazione ferroviaria, la maggior parte del commercio, i quartieri residenziali e le aree industriali Gouden Driehoek e Industrieweg si trovano nella parte meridionale del villaggio.
