An der IJsselkade steht die beeindruckende Walmolen. Es handelt sich um eine Getreidemühle aus dem Jahr 1851. Die Vorgängerin dieser Mühle war eine Standardmühle, die 1850 durch einen Brand zerstört wurde. Sie wurde wiederaufgebaut und war bis 1908 in Betrieb. Im Jahr 1910 wurde alles abgerissen, so dass nur der Steinsockel übrig blieb. Sie sollte 1961 abgerissen werden, wurde aber glücklicherweise vor dem Abrisshammer gerettet.
Die Öffnungszeiten
Der Müller wird Ihnen gerne mehr über die Mühle erzählen.
Die Mühle ist dienstags und mittwochs von 9.00 bis 15.00 Uhr und samstags von 13.00 bis 17.00 Uhr geöffnet.
An Samstagen ist die Mühle jede zweite Woche geöffnet.
