Nach einer gründlichen Renovierung dieses ehemaligen Jagdschlosses entstand das heutige Schloss Heysterum. Besuchen Sie dieses Schloss während eines Spaziergangs.
Dieses ehemalige Jagdschloss bestand aus zwei rechtwinkligen Flügeln, die einen Innenhof umschlossen.
Bei einer umfassenden Renovierung um 1887 wurde der nördliche Flügel abgerissen und machte Platz für den heutigen Neubau. In dieser Zeit wurde der Turm mit vier kleinen Seitentürmchen im neogotischen Stil, entworfen von dem berühmten Roermonder Architekten Pierre Cuypers, an das Gebäude angebaut. Das Schloss ist im Privatbesitz.
