Después de una profunda remodelación de esta antigua casa de caza, se formó el actual castillo Heysterum. Visita este castillo durante un paseo. Esta antigua casa de caza consistía en dos alas perpendiculares que encerraban un patio interior. Durante una profunda remodelación alrededor de 1887, se demolió el ala norte, dando paso a la construcción actual. En ese período se añadió a la edificación la torre con cuatro pequeñas torres laterales en estilo neogótico, diseñada por el famoso arquitecto roermondense Pierre Cuypers. El castillo es de propiedad privada.
