Après une rénovation approfondie de cet ancien pavillon de chasse, le château actuel de Heysterum est né. Découvrez ce château lors d'une promenade. Ce pavillon de chasse était constitué de deux ailes perpendiculaires formant une cour intérieure. Lors d'une rénovation majeure vers 1887, l'aile nord a été démolie pour faire place à la construction actuelle. À cette époque, la tour avec quatre petites tourelles de style néogothique, conçue par le célèbre architecte roermondais Pierre Cuypers, a été ajoutée au bâtiment. Le château est la propriété privée.
