Dopo un'accurata ristrutturazione di questo ex castello da caccia è nato l'attuale castello di Heysterum. Visita questo castello durante una passeggiata.
Questo ex castello da caccia era costituito da due ali perpendicolari che racchiudevano un cortile.
Durante una ristrutturazione significativa intorno al 1887, l'ala nord fu demolita e lasciò spazio all'attuale costruzione. In quel periodo fu aggiunta alla struttura la torre con quattro torrette laterali in stile neogotico, progettata dal famoso architetto di Roermond Pierre Cuypers. Il castello è di proprietà privata.
