Die Bolwerken ist ein Stadtpark in Haarlem, der nördlich des Bahnhofs liegt und die ehemaligen Befestigungsanlagen der Stadt umfasst. Nachdem die Stadtmauern im neunzehnten Jahrhundert abgerissen wurden, wurde das Gebiet in einen Park im englischen Landschaftsstil umgestaltet, entworfen von Landschaftsarchitekt J.D. Zocher, der auch den Vondelpark entwarf. Im Jahr 2007 wurden die beiden Seiten des Parks an der Kloppersingel durch eine Fußgängerbrücke verbunden. Die Wege im Park sind wasserdurchlässig dank der Verwendung von Grauwacke-Splitt.
