The Achental is a side valley of the Unterinntal in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The valley branches off from the Inn Valley at Jenbach and then runs in a northwestern direction close to the Achenpass on the border with German Bavaria.
In the Achental, the Achen Lake is located with its tributary rivers such as the Oberaubach and the Unteraubach. Near the Achenpass, the Ache springs, which is also called Seeache. The valley is enclosed by the Karwendel mountains to the west and the Rofan mountains to the east.
