The building, constructed in 2001 according to designs by architect Andreas Müller-Hartburg, is one of the tallest structures in Vienna with a height of 113 meters. It has a usable area of around 36,000 m², distributed over 31 floors, and 9 elevators. It features an energy-saving double-skin climate facade and operable windows, with cooling provided by cooling beams. In late 2006, the building was sold for 110 million euros to DIFA Deutsche Immobilien Fonds AG, which now operates under the name Union Investment Real Estate AG. On the 30th floor, there is the Florido Lounge, which can be rented for conferences and events for 10 to 240 people.
