The Hauser Kaibling, with its 2015 meters, is the highest mountain of the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Resort. At the foot of the mountain, which is located between Planai and Galsterbergalm, lies the market town of Haus im Ennstal.
The Alpine World Ski Championships 1982 featured the downhill, slalom, and combination events for women on the Hauser Kaibling.
