Christiaen Lauw and his wife Gertrude Boden had the Karrehof built in 1799 as a house and two country buildings.
In 1892, the farm passed into the hands of Marie-Octavie Boden and her husband Guillaume Vanmarsenille, who later became mayor of Batsheers. Subsequently, the farm was passed on to his brother Florent, the great-grandfather of the current owner. In 1983 the farm was converted into one of the first residences for farm tourism in Limburg. Since then, countless guests have enjoyed a pleasant stay and the cooking skills of the hostess. The farm has a cosy flower garden, a playground and an orchard with many native fruits. After recent expansion works, 't Karrehof can accommodate 35 guests.
