Description

On the Place de la Pierre a monumental walnut tree casts its shadow and near that tree lies the Pierre d'Août (August stone), a huge block of pudding stone, carved by the villagers and dragged here in August 1982, in the manner of their distant ancestors. The spacious square, a former cemetery, is bordered by a number of buildings, some of which are definitely worth a visit.
