Het Kluisbos was used for the filming of De Bende by Jan de Lichte, a ten-part Flemish television series. The historical costume series is based on the life of the 18th-century Southern Dutch gang leader Jan de Lichte and its interpretation in Louis Paul Boon's 1957 novel The Gang of Jan de Lichte. Filming ran in the fall of 2016 and the winter and spring of 2017. A lot was filmed in the Kluisbos in Kluisbergen.
