The Semois winds through the Luxembourg slate, making numerous, sometimes very narrow bends. The most famous meander is perhaps the one at Botassart, a hamlet of Ucimont and therefore of Bouillon. The narrow "peninsula" within that bend is called Graf van de Reus. The slopes resemble the walls of a sarcophagus. In the past, pine trees were planted in a cross shape on top of the wooded hill; this was clearly visible in winter. But you can no longer recognize that now. However, you can still see it on satellite images and aerial photographs.
