Description

We cycle along the original bed of the Lieve. This channel is a paradise for predatory fish, especially pike, and consequently also for herons. Not coincidentally, the nearby village of Vinderhoute carries the heron in its banner. We cycle on the trail along which the tugboats full of goods were pulled inland with man or horse until the beginning of the 20th century.
