Description

An 8-hectare arboretum is housed in the Koekelare forest. There are numerous monumental trees in the forest. Many species of trees and shrubs are cultivated there. Some Koekelare pines are already 126 years old! The Koekelare forest has a 4.5 km walking path and is freely accessible to walkers. Near the forest there is a large playground for the little ones and slightly older children.
