Brewery Fort Lapin is a Belgian craft brewery in Bruges. The name of the brewery refers to the former fort and the current neighborhood Fort Lapin, where the brewery is located. The brewery was founded by Kristof Vandenbussche in 2011. As the manager of a refrigeration company and after many years of making trial brews as a hobby brewer, he decided to start a brewery. The entire brewing setup is an original creation. It is the second brewery in the territory of Bruges. At the beginning of 2012, the first beer Fort Lapin 8 was launched on the market.
