The oriented neo-Gothic cruciform basilica of 1852-1853 with integrated late Gothic tower of circa 1500 is located east of the Markt, just behind the former town hall. The originally surrounding cemetery fell into disrepair and was replaced by a green area with, among other things, the monument to the Boerenkrijg and the monument to the fallen of the First World War.
