This cemetery near the North Ring in Ypres was established during the Third Battle of Ypres in 1917. It is located close to the larger New Irish Farm Cemetery. Fallen soldiers from a nearby medical post were buried here. The original cemetery contained 87 graves, including 1 German grave. Between 1924 and 1926, this cemetery was expanded with the 'Extension', adding 678 casualties from surrounding battlefields and smaller cemeteries.
