Since 1997, Luc Vermeersch, the founder of brewery De Leite, has been experimenting with brews in his garden. Eventually, he took a brewing course and the idea grew to approach things a bit more professionally. In 2008, brewery De Leite opened its doors, and just three years later, larger kettles were introduced. Today, these high-fermentation beers are still brewed in the traditional way. This results in a fine collection of beers, each blessed with meaningful names.
