Parkbosbrug E40 is one of the two park bridges. The park bridges are part of the realization of the 'Parkbos' project. This concerns two bicycle and pedestrian bridges. They are located over the Ringvaart/R4 and over the E40. The bridges form a necessary link for the creation of a slow traffic connection on the old railway bed between the City of Ghent on one side and the green area Parkbos and the residential areas south of Ghent on the other side.
