This is the unique ring kiln of brickworks Hove. Did you know that this is one of the last operational ring kilns in Belgium? The brickyard has been operational since 1946 and is still owned by the Hove family. The molding and firing process has not undergone any changes in the last 50 years, as tests with modern techniques did not bring any improvement. Since the facing bricks are still drying in the open air, work is only carried out during the summer period.
