In the district of Esen, the St.-Henricus brewery was taken over in 1980 by three brothers - who first practiced the noble art of brewing at home in the wash tub - and it became the De Dolle Brouwers brewery. De Dolle Brouwers brews a limited range of remarkable beers in an artisanal manner, namely Oerbier, Arabier, Boskeun, Dulle Teve, Stille Nacht, and Stout. All beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized, and undergo secondary fermentation in the bottle.
During a visit, get acquainted with the various beers brewed from barley. A tasting is possible after the visit.
Individual visits and visits with a smaller group are possible on Sunday afternoons at 3 PM.
