Original chapel from 1668, demolished in 1697; before that, the so-called "Chapel of Our Lady of the Riemen" was presumably located here, belonging to the Catharines. Current chapel with surrounding little garden with cast-iron gate, from 1894 designed by J. Goethals. Octagonal floor plan under a bent tent roof (slates) with lantern, rectangular porch under gable roof. Brick construction on natural stone plinth, outlined by brick round arch frieze and cornice. Segmental arch door under drip cornice. Alternating round arch window with beveled plinth and oculus.
