Having transformed part of the family farm into a gîte, and in order to confront the milk crisis, the Hardy-Rixens launched themselves into transforming the manufacture of fromage frais and maquées, but also puddings. For two years, with their friends, they have been building a second holiday let, a workshop and a shop, “in bales of hay and clay”. The whole project is due for completion in 2017.
