The hamlet of Botassart is located 3 km northwest of Bouillon, on a north-facing bend of the Semois. There is a beautiful Chapel of Our Lady from 1624, with a dozen tombstones of the lords of Botassart in the inner walls. Above the door are two coats of arms of those rulers. The 17th-century, bright yellow castle next to it - yellow was the colour of the lords - had its origins in a farm from 1619, which was enlarged around 1865.
