Located in the Ardennes, in the Ferrières region, the site in question brings together several communal plots scattered around the hamlets of Bosson and Grand Trixhe. These plots contain a beautiful sample of habitats that have become rare on a regional scale, notably acidic wetlands and minimally to non-amended wet meadows. The flagship species are common wavy grass (Nardus stricta), the pale sedge (Carex canescens), and the spotted orchid (Dactylorhiza maculata). The local fauna has been little studied to date.
