Located in Famenne, about 2 km southeast of Houyet, this former railway tunnel is currently used by the cycling path that connects this locality to Jemelle. It was excavated into a slate hill and with a length of nearly 500 meters, the microclimate inside the structure is particularly stable. These favorable conditions, combined with the presence of numerous cracks and roughness, allow for the hibernation of several species of bats, including the rare whiskered myotis (Myotis emarginatus).
