Description

Both the Peertsbos and the surroundings of the Groot Moerven belong to the Kempense Heuvelrug hiking network.
The Peertsbos is a relatively old deciduous forest with thick oaks and beeches. The rich undergrowth provides a wide variety of plants and animals. Birds such as woodpeckers and tree clippers feel completely at home here.
The Groot Moerven is a very beautiful lake, with hundreds of flowering water lilies in the summer.
