At the second source, you can admire the yellow flower of the marsh iris in May and June, the symbol of the Brussels Region, whose long leaves are shaped like a sword. In the same place, the flowers of the Great butterbur appear at the beginning of spring. Unlike most plants, the broad leaves (which resemble rhubarb) develop after flowering. These two plants grow in moist environments, often at the edges of streams and ponds.
