Mielen-boven-Aalst is a sub-municipality of the Belgian municipality of Gingelom in the province of Limburg, until 1971 an independent municipality with 750 inhabitants, then until 1977 a part of Borlo in Droog Haspengouw. The core of Mielen-boven-Aalst spreads out along both banks of the Melsterbeek and according to a north-south orientation.
