Since 2016, 17,000 vines have been planted in the sandy loamy soil. Especially pinot auxerrois, chardonnay and pinot noir. Valke Vleug is a project of entrepreneur Jan Van Lancker, assisted by winemaker Pieter Raeymaekers. Vinetiq, an online boutique, for 'cool climate' wines, is linked to the domain. Top chef Viki Geunes of the three-star restaurant Het Zilte chose the location to cook a six-course menu for 330 people in May 2021.
