Description

The forest cross in the Kruisdreef was placed in 1931, is also scornfully called 'forest cross against nude holes'. In 1930 a nudist area had been built 50 meters from the crossroads and legend has it that a poacher came across eight during a night trip through the forest, fell asleep there but when he woke up he found nothing of his nocturnal adventure. The priest was impressed by his story that he had the cross of Blommerschot placed at the crossroads to chase away 'naked witches'.
