The Sint-Pieterskerk in the center of Oostkamp contains a protected Romanesque octagonal crossing tower from the end of the 12th century. Around 1900, this hall church was restored and expanded in neo-Gothic style.
The Van Eynde organ from 1717 is a protected heritage site. At the end of the 1970s the organ appears to be in poor condition. A new, more modern organ was installed. The Verschueren company has restored the organ.
Against the northern side wall there is a plaque commemorating the military and civilian victims of the First World War.
Outside, on the north side of the church, a Lapidarium has been constructed. In the mid-1970s the cemetery around the church was moved due to lack of space. Among other things, the local history circle has helped with the Lapidarium (1987).
