Description

This War Memorial is located against a garden wall at the Our Lady of the Ascension Church in Damme.

It was erected in memory of the civilian and military victims of the First and Second World Wars . The memorial plaque was unveiled on July 21, 1986.

In the first world war Damme had 4 war victims out of a population of 1216 inhabitants. 44 men were called to arms.
