This rocky viewpoint overlooks the confluence of the Our and the Lesse .
Legend has it that in the past, old horses that were no longer useful were thrown into the depths from this spot, but in reality it was the carcasses of dead horses - not living animals - that were thrown from this rock and left as prey for the rapacious of wild animals.
