This exceptionally tall, neoclassical hardstone cross from 1819 was originally placed in the Eupen cemetery before being moved to Heidberg in 1882.
The square, almost 5 m high cross has a base with three levels. On the back is a Gothic inscription and an image of a monstrance. Body of Christ, sandstone, very expressive, installed in 1923 by the Eupen sculptor Christian Stüttgen (1876-1942).
