Cette croix en pierre dure néoclassique, exceptionnellement haute, datant de 1819, était à l'origine placée dans le cimetière d'Eupen avant d'être déplacée à Heidberg en 1882.
La croix carrée, haute de près de 5 m, possède une base à trois niveaux. Au dos se trouvent une inscription gothique et l'image d'un ostensoir. Corps du Christ, en grès, très expressif, installé en 1923 par le sculpteur eupennois Christian Stüttgen (1876-1942).
