Gommern Castle is a moated castle in the town of Gommern in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. This is designated as a cultural monument. There is an inn brewery in the moated castle.
On an artificially created hill, there was a Slavic hillfort as early as the 10th century. In order to secure the German seizure of land, a new castle complex was built in its place from 948 onwards, consisting of an outer bailey and a core castle, with ramparts and double moats. The free-standing keep, which still exists today, was given three-metre-thick walls. It is about 40 meters high and has a diameter of ten meters.
