The Eastern Cemetery is a communal cemetery opened on July 1, 1800, for the Jewish, Catholic, Lutheran, and Reformed denominations in Hamm.
At the Hammer Eastern Cemetery, several gravestones from the early 19th century have been preserved, including the gravestone of the von Rademacher family and the grave slab of Major von Rabenau. Noteworthy are also the burial sites of numerous honorary citizens of Hamm. A illustrated catalog provides information about the gravestones in the Jewish section. In front of the main entrance on Ostenallee is the memorial for the President of the Higher Regional Court, Adalbert Falk.
