The station is located on the railway line Neustadt – Meyenburg, west of the center of the district of Blumenthal. In the municipality of Heiligengrabe, to which Blumenthal has belonged since 2003, there are three other stations: Rosenwinkel, Heiligengrabe, and Liebenthal on the railway line Wittenberge – Strasburg.
