The Clarissan Monastery in Paderborn existed from 1926 to 2014. The last Clarissans left the monastery in Paderborn, which had become too large for their needs, and moved to Salzkotten, where they continue their religious life as the Clarissan Convent Salzkotten. Following the example of Saint Clare and Francis of Assisi, the Clarissans devote themselves to prayer, work, and serving the people who come to them with their concerns.
