Gut Isselhorst, a historic manor from 1691, is located in the midst of an extensive natural and cultural landscape in the Wesel district of Obrighoven near the Issel, which springs a few kilometers away. It is surrounded by a double moat system.
In an open area inspired by the English landscape park, the historic main house from 1691 stands with its slender four-story tower, which reveals the year of construction through its wall anchors. In 1897, the main house was expanded with an addition in historicist styles. The curved external staircase on the northwest rear still points to the old access via a triple bridge structure.
