The Rappbodetalsperre or Rappbode-Talsperre is a large reservoir in the Harz Mountains, in the municipality of Oberharz am Brocken in the district of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt. It is located between the towns of Hasselfelde, Tanne, Elbingerode and Thale.
The reservoir dams the Rappbode with its 106 m high dam, the largest in Germany. With a volume of 109.08 million m³, the Rappbodetalsperre is the largest reservoir in the Harz Mountains. The Rappbodetalsperre is the second largest reservoir in Germany after the Great Dhüntalsperre.
