The Arras Castle is a hilltop castle built in the early 12th century near Alf on the Moselle in the Cochem-Zell district of Rhineland-Palatinate.
During late antiquity, there was already a fortified Roman horse station on the site of the later hilltop castle, similar to those found in the Eifel and Hunsrück regions. However, after the departure of the Romans, only a deserted settlement remained for several centuries.
