The Hullern Dam (Hullerner See) in the district of Recklinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia dams the Stever above the Haltern reservoir. Gelsenwasser AG uses the dam for water production, and it also serves as a quiet place for recreation. The dam was inaugurated on 15 October 1985 after thirteen years of construction.
