Fuliola[1] is a Spanish municipality in the province of Lérida, Autonomous Community of Catalonia, with an area of 11.1 km², a population of 1,225 inhabitants, and a population density of 110.36 inhab/km². Until the mid-19th century, it was called Fuliola and Almenara Baja.[1]
Regarding the origin of its name, there are two versions. One version says that it comes from the Arabic al-folia, which means place. Another version states that its name comes from leaf, which is why a leaf appears on its coat of arms.
