The Tarragona Bullring, now known as "Tarraco Arena Plaça," is a historic building in the modernist style built by local architect Ramón Salas Ricomá and is considered one of the first examples of Modernism in the province of Tarragona.[1]
The building occupied its original use until 2006 when the reform initiated by the Diputación de Tarragona, the owner of the building, made it impossible to continue holding bullfighting events inside, protected by the applicable legislation in Catalonia.
